yaniv
Cannot have more than 2 players
The goal of Yaniv is to have the lowest hand value when you decide to declare "Yaniv!" But here's the twist—if an opponent has a hand equal to or lower than yours, they can call "Asaf," which penalizes you! Aim low, but beware of the Asaf.
Draw and Discard: Start your turn by picking up a card from the deck or discard pile. Discard a Card or Set: Drop a single card, a pair, or a set of consecutive cards. This helps lower your hand value. Check Your Hand: If your hand’s total is 7 points or fewer, you can declare “Yaniv!” to end the round
When a player declares "Yaniv," any other player with an equal or lower hand can call "Asaf" to challenge. If "Asaf" is called, the player who declared "Yaniv" is penalized: they score the total value of their hand plus 30 points, while the "Asaf" caller scores zero for that round. Asaf adds a risk—think carefully before calling Yaniv!
If you declare "Yaniv" and have the lowest hand, you score zero. If someone calls "Asaf" on you and has an equal or lower hand, you take the penalty.
